Thanks to ARO Gallery for Clinton Barker’s Sydney Debut
ARO Gallery at 51 William Street, Darlinghurst was the home for Clinton Barker’s Sydney debut, NEW LIGHT: RECENT PAINTINGS & PRINTS, which ran between 12 and 23 July 2017.
This exhibition fulfilled his long-held ambition to introduce his work to the Sydney public and Clinton thanks ARO for making this possible.
He also thanks all the people who viewed the exhibition, especially those who purchased for their ongoing enjoyment.
A significant outcome was that the gallery was visited by David Rex-Livingston, director of Katoomba’s prestigious Rex-Livingston Art + Objects (http://www.rex-livingston.com/) who has taken three paintings to be sold through his own gallery.
Clinton Barker’s next Brisbane engagement will be participation in a group show at Brisbane’s Woolloongabba Art Gallery (http://wag.com.au/) between 22 August and 2 September 2017. His wife, Kazumi Daido, will also be participating in that exhibition.
The works from this exhibition can be be viewed at Exhibitions.
